Indent/Center Sentence

Is there a way to indent a sentence? I wish to center two sentences under each other in the center of the page, but be able to have them line up? Or is there another way. This is my goal:
Upcoming Events and Meetings for December–January
December 6th   Speech Contest
                    December 20th Potluck Holiday Celeberation
I'm unable to do this on our home page.   542.toastmastersclubs.org/

Applying the Text Center button doesn't quite work. Similarly, is it possible to apply different characteristics to 2 ore lines with a soft-carriage return? Such as, with the lines in question here, how can I apply different styles to each line? Modifying one line changes both lines. The line spacing closer together is important.

I added indents to line up the month column, yet vertical misalignment persists. Is it possible to insert mono-type indent?

You can't always get what you want using the basic editor tools and html. Unless you want to get into coding raw html. You will have to do what the tools allow you to.

You will also run into the issue of different browsers act differently with the use different fonts etc
Also different devices act different the especially mobile devices, different screens and browsers apply fonts and scaling differently.

Welcome to the wild west of the internet, where not everyone follows the standards and even make up their own.

I would probably put the dates and event descriptions in a table and center the table as a single unit.  You could then just center the heading above the table.

If you do not want the cell borders in the table, I am sure those can be turned off.

Using tables strategically is often the solution to many layout issues in FTH.

What is a preferred browser on Mac OS? The discrepancy appears within FireFox.
