Possible for custom domain to use FreeToastHost & Google Workspace (for email)?

If we had a domain xyztoastmasters.org as our FTH site, we can set that as our Custom Website Domain as described in the documentation here  support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

In addition to using FTH to host our website, is it possible to use Google Workspace to host our @xyztoastmasters.org email on the same domain also? We want the power of all the Google Workspace tools (e.g. mail, drive, docs, sheets, etc.) in addition to the unique Toastmasters features FTH has to offer. We understand such a setup could break the mail features FTH has, but I don't see any reason the rest of FTH's website features wouldn't work.

Regarding the domain's DNS, the "A" record for xyztoastmasters.org and www.xyztoastmasters.org could point to FTH as outlined in the documentation. But would FTH's website features work fine if the "MX" record was pointed to Google Workspace? If there are reasons this wouldn't work, I would suggest the FTH developers allow for something like this so users with custom domains can use their own email provider with mailboxes.

Let me know if you have any comments/suggestions. As always, thanks for all your work on FTH!

Using the custom domain, the email functions of FTH would not work without the MX record pointing to the FTH server.
You could however log into the server with the club number url and send and receive email from the FTH server.
Just don't expect FTH support to support your email doing this.
