Okay. Thanks for taking time to talk to me. I’ll see what the beta test shows, then if that’s the best way to do online sign ups, I may come back here to iron out any problems. In the meantime, I’ll reach out to my district folks and use the Facebook group to find out about best practices.

You should expect some degradation of functionality when working on mobile devices, regardless of what you are trying to access with the device. The reason is that usually mobile browsers and operating systems are dumbed down a bit for performance and smaller screen dimensions. (although this is improving) In most cases, you will not notice much of a difference, but in some cases where a web application tries to approximate a desktop application with a lot of features (e.g. Google Sheets) you will see a difference when accessing them via mobile browsers. This is why there are frequently apps for Google Drive applications... they attempt to make the Google Drive apps work better in a mobile environment. If you search in the iTunes or Google Play stores, you should be able to find the associated Google Drive apps.

My recommendation is to email agendas using the Response Links option. Then the agenda emails support signing up from the received email.

I don’t mind some degradation, but when I can’t edit a spread sheet or scroll, that’s where I draw the line.

I am not familiar with emailing agendas or response links.

Well, maybe it is time to get familiar?

Frankly, though, I think you are expecting too much from us if you are using Google Sheets and expecting us to tell you why you cannot scroll when using them on a mobile device. That is where we have to draw the line. Google Sheets is not our system and while we can point you to how to set up an iframe in a page to act as a window to your Google sheet, we cannot guarantee how well that will work out because we do not control the content you would be putting in the iframe.

Thanks. This is what I’m looking for. The issue with scrolling is separate and unrelated to Google Drive. It has to do with the list of members spread sheet in the admin console. I mentioned it in passing and didn’t mean to cloud my original question.

I use my phone with chrome to update and manage the club members. I have no problems scrolling or selecting. Try holding your phone landscape so you have a wide screen.
