Dues Management Static Text Invoice Settings

Any chance of updating the fixed text on the Invoice Settings page? So few people use checks (cheques) any more and I was wondering if the word 'check' (with regard to monies) could be changed to monies/funds/fees?
Additionally in Australia, we spell check as 'cheque.' Getting rid of the word 'check' altogether would make the form more universal/generic. I researched to see if I could change is static text, but it would appear not?
