Email aliases not working

Hello,

My name is Ony Nwankpa, President of Traffic Club, #2286. It came to my attention recently that the email aliases are not working, and wanted your help in resolving the issues. This issue came to light, as there was a recently discovered as people were not showing up to meetings, and the meetings (and meeting reminders) were set up using the officers@traffictoastmasters.org.

In the past, when I sent out emails to the group email aliases, I used to get a copy, but about a year ago, I noticed that changed. It may have been because of other issues. To resolve the issue, I recently sent out test emails to the addresses below, and I was expecting to get a least two, at least 3, as I am an officer, member and president of the club, as well as listed, on the contact-us page for the site. The issue can be with our domain or with FTH, but I decided to start here, then check with namecheap.

I waited 5 minutes before writing this email and checked my box again after composing the email. I didn't receive any. The email was sent from on.shops@yahoo.com (or o_nwankpa@yahoo.com) and sent to the following addresses:

• vped@traffictoastmasters.org
• vpm@traffictoastmasters.org
• saa@traffictoastmasters.org
• vppr@traffictoastmasters.org
• secretary@traffictoastmasters.org
• ipp@traffictoastmasters.org

• members@traffictoastmasters.org
• officers@traffictoastmasters.org
• contact@traffictoastmasters.org
• admin@traffictoastmasters.org

Another email that this would affect but not included in the above is dues@traffictoastmasters.org.

The members and officers email list can only be emailed by emails that are listed as club member email addresses.

I received your test email, which got me to thinking, perhaps the spam filter blocked my email, because in conducting the test, I put in all addresses to see which ones I would receive. I decided to do a little experiment:
* When I only put two email address in the recipient email address, president@ and contact@, the two I know I would get from any email address, I received the test emails.
* When I put in all 12 addresses in the recipient box, I did not receive the test email.

In any case, the inquiry stemmed from the fact that I set up my officers meetings using Google Calendar, and added officers@ as the invited guest. I think it may not work with the calendar function even though it is coming from a registered email address.

I will reach out to one of my officers to do a test and fill you in.

it you put all the alias in they cancel each other out.

If you want send to the list (officer, members, formermembers, guests) you do it one list at a time.

Earlier yesterday evening, one of the officers tested the officers@traffictoastmasters.org email alias and it bounced back to him. Then early this morning to test the aliases, I created another profile for myself on FTH with another email address, and assigned it to Immediate past president. I sent 3 emails, one to officers@, one to members@, and one to ipp@. I also sent a google calendar invite to officers@.

Everything seemed to go through. Not sure if there was something done in the background between the email conversations, however, everything seems to be working okay.
