"Select Recipients" Box checked, but Replies to agenda still go to one pers

In the Meeting Agenda Global Settings section, I chose the "select recipient" option under the "Recipient of replies to agenda notifications"

Choosing this option is supposed to force those who hit "reply" in the emailed agenda to have to choose who the reply goes to.

I sent a test email to me (VPE) and when I hit reply, a member's name and email comes up of where the reply is going to be sent to. It happens to be our Immediate Past President. So I went in to the "club officers emails" list and took him off to see if that would work. It didn't. I then went into the Membership Management list and changed his status from IPP to Member, thinking that might have something to do with it. Still the replies to agenda go to him automatically.

So, I'm stumped.

Gmail is caching the From / To it caches the first email to come from that address.
