Members not getting original emails, only replies — Club 1051632

A few of our members say they're not getting sent original messages sent to all members, only the subsequent replies. I've checked our membership management and email contact settings, and all are correct. Has anyone seen a fix for this? Thanks.

Ok, we need some specifics.

FTH emails fall into one of two categories that are handled differently... emails that are generated while logged into the website ("form emails") and emails that are created via a member's webmail or email client ("user emails").

So... first of all, can you be a bit more specific which category of emails you are having issues with? If these are agenda emails, those are the type that are generated while logged in (via a form you fill out).

The type matters since they are processed a bit differently.

My initial hunch is that they are agenda emails that are only sent to the VPED and/or Toastmasters, but you may have your agenda replies setting for those set to go to all members.

Hi, Steve,

Thanks for taking this on.

We don't use the agenda emails or the FTH agenda builder; I'm talking about events where a member logs in and composes to all members through the Club E-Mail Addresses option in the members-only sidebar, or else an officer sends something to all from his or her mail app.

In both cases the notes are addressed to members dash 1051632 at toastmastersclubs dot org.

I can try to be more specific if you can let me know what other details we need to troubleshoot this...

Have the members with the issue looked in their spam/junk mail folder for the missing emails?

Can you post the headers here for an email that you sent out that they did not receive?
