Role Sign-up still available despite checkbox being off

On one of our agendas, there is a role for which the checkbox "This role is a role that members can sign up for" is UNchecked. However, the dropdown box still appears on that role on the agenda.

Drop down has nothing to do with that. The only people that can access the drop downs are VPED, Toastmaster, and club admin.

Members do not use the drop down for signing up for roles. Members use the sign-up button. That checkbox controls the visibility of the sign-up button.
