Email not working

The group email is not sending to recipients. I addressed several emails to members@oakparktoastmasters.org this week and no one received them including me. All of the email addresses appear to be in the database and classified as members.

The email address you show does not have your club number in it.
The proper format is
members-xxxx@toastmastersclubs.org

Fill in your club number for the xxxx and it should work like a charm.

Len,

Your DNS settings are not configured properly for your custom domain name--there is no MX record that routes email to your custom domain or the FTH server. That is why you are having issues with using email with your custom domain. In the meantime, you can use the club number flavor of the email addresses (like Douglas is suggesting) until you get your dns settings sorted out.

viewdns.info/dnsrecord/?domain=oakparktoastmasters.org

Please refer the following doc on how to configure your DNS settings: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/dns-settings-overview

Is this a recent change? The club number was not required in emails I sent a month ago. Also, the Club Emails tab in the email and Contact forms page in the admin console does not show this as a requirement. See below.

The following are the email addresses that the FreeToastHost website system has created for your club. These are distribution lists and forwarding email addresses that route to the actual email addresses entered into the system's Membership Management module.

NOTE: FreeToastHost does NOT provide email accounts with email storage.

members@oakparktoastmasters.org

The members e-mail list is your list of all current members. Any current member can send messages to this list. Your "From" address must be the same as either your main e-mail address as set in your profile, or your backup e-mail address.

officers@oakparktoastmasters.org

The officers e-mail list is your list of the current officers, as set in the member administration part of this website. Any current member can send messages to this list. Your "From" address must be the same as either your main e-mail address as set in your profile, or your backup e-mail address.

Len,

Douglas is another user that is trying to assist you... I am the system developer, so I have more information at hand about your website and settings.

We have not changed our DNS setting since the domain was set up several years ago. Why did this just stop working in the last month? What's not correct and how do we change it?
