Bulk meeting agenda update

Carroll Creek Toastmasters 7174 Mark Baldwin, Administrator/SAA

All of our club's meeting agendas going back to 2012 have a typo in which the "Wizard of Ah's Report" is actually listed as "Wizart of Ah's Report". Rather than going back and attempting to edit everything (roughly 200 agendas) manually to preserve role reporting, is it possible for someone to run an update statement across all agendas for our club?

Thanks,
Mark

You need to go into the admin section and edit there, so that when you create a new agenda, the new one will be created. For the ones already created on the user side, all you can do is edit each one as the meeting date comes up. That is my suggestion...

I had to do that very thing once too....

Or you can delete all of the already created agendas and once you edit the one in the admin section, you can create the corrected one.

Ok, I fixed all 110 instances for you. B)

However, as this was an ad-hoc update query, which makes me a bit nervous, you do not get off the hook without me giving you some good natured teasing. :P

So, not only did you have to come up with movie themed name for the Ah Counter role, you naturally had to come up with one with an apostrophe in it just to make me have to escape a character in MySQL code... :pinch:

I mean, really, did your club members click their heals together 3 times to come up with this role name? :P

Thank you a million times over, or at least 110 times over. I checked the site and the updates are being displayed correctly, no need to be nervous over an expertly crafted ad-hoc query :)

Thanks Again,
Mark
