As far as your snarky comment about us (me) being "short-sighted", the system really does not care about what you enter as a name in Membership Management. It does not use that internally anyway... it is just for "human consumption". So, you could refer to yourself as Donald Duck, DTM... it does not matter.

Actually, your email address is much more important to the system.
