Hi there. Our previous club presidents for the past two years used to maintain our FTH website. Both have left Toastmasters; one does not respond to requests for help via e-mail & the other is out of the country now. We recently rebranded and changed our club name, so I purchased a new domain for us, however I'm having trouble syncing up the DNS information on the domain provider website per the instructions on FTH. Now Toastmasters.org points to the generic free toast toast when somebody clicks "visit this website".

Our club is Aspiring Leaders Toastmasters # 1705642. I've purchased the domain aspiring leaders.org from Name Silo.

Maybe I'm not doing the changes in the correct order?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

1705642.toastmastersclubs.org/ is working correctly.

You still have www.gipsongabbers.org in the custom domain box on the basic settings.

Hi, thank you Brian. I realize this... Each time I try to change and save, I get the following error message:

Basic Settings Tab - This domain is not yet pointing to the IP address 50.19.253.65. In your domain registrar's DNS area, modify the exisitng "A" and "MX" records for this domain, to point to 50.19.253.65, wait the amount of time as specified by your domain host, then try again.

The domain host site said the changes should take effect after 15 minutes. I guess I go there next and try again.

D.

You need to clean up your DNS records

www.aspiringleaders.org

change this
www.aspiringleaders.org . 7206 IN CNAME parking.namesilo.com.
to
www.aspiringleaders.org . 7206 IN CNAME aspiringleaders.org

Delete these

parking.namesilo.com. 299 IN A 107.161.23.204
parking.namesilo.com. 299 IN A 164.132.212.72
parking.namesilo.com. 299 IN A 167.114.213.199

You also have not added the MX records for email.

Please see this doc.
