hotmail email not receiving the opt-in email

We have a "newer" member who I have tried re-sending the opt-in email sevaral times. My understanding is he did get it originally but the link didn't work so I re-send the opt-in and even tried deleting him and started over but now he is not getting the opt-in email at all with the links.Any suggestions?

1) check his spam/junkj box

2) add server@toastmastersclubs.org and agenda@toastmastersclubs.org to his contact list.

Thank you for the last resolution. FYI, we have another member with a hotmail account that is not seeing the opt-in message. I will double-check with her that she follows your suggestions. Is this an issue with hotmail in general?

Short answer is "yes".

Hotmail and outlook.com have a nasty tendency to "greylist" our initial emails. We have tried to research this and have followed recommended procedures to prevent it, but the issue still persists.

We are also seeing some link protection schemes give us headaches. Lucky FreeToastHost!!! :S
