Setting for Purging Old Meeting Agendas
4 years 6 months ago
Hello!
For the Spartan Speakers Club (#1154856) website, I see occasional messages about so many agendas have been purged. Where is the setting for purging (or not) old meeting agendas. I'm concerned that we are losing some valuable historical information regarding speeches completed and roles filled. I'd like to set this to NOT purge old meeting agendas, if possible.
Also, is there any possibility that purged agendas can be restored?

Do NOT purge old agenda, they are your club members history of what they have done at club meetings.
NEVER purge an agenda for a past meeting.
That is why we recommend that the VPEd update the agenda after the meeting to make any changes that happened during the meeting

i completely agree. It just seems like I'm getting a message that old agendas have been purged - and I was thinking it was done automatically.
Now, based on your response, I'm wondering if some member who previously was admin may be doing that without understanding the historical data implications.

We cannot make people read the documentation.
There is an undelete function but after a brief period the delete becomes permanent

The purge notification is an indication that someone deleted an agenda over 30 days ago. The delete is manual, but the purge of old deletes is automatic.
