Potential Feature/Support Request: General Data Protection Regulation Compliance

Since clubs around the world are meeting online, are there any disclaimers and features integrated in FreeToastHost to comply with General Data Protection Regulations ( gdpr-info.eu ) for European visitors?

Anyone whose details are added to a club's database gets an email message which requests them to opt-in. support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/m...ip-panel#add-members Their details aren't available on the website until they opt in, and are deleted after 30 days or immediately if they deliberately choose not to opt-in

Can you update the FreeToastHost (FTH) opt-in email to be shorter and more readable with these poignant items? Most prospects and members ignore these emails currently, so we have to walk them through it by phone or video since our slides and the FTH support docs don't seem to work for them. Alternatively, we've gotten their opt-in verbally or via other written means (e.g., email, text) in a more relevant, succinct manner, which defeats the purpose of using FTH for opt-ins.

The member must do the opt-in themselves, verbal or other means are not valid under the new regulations.

If you have an alternate text for the emails you would like to suggest we will have a look at it, but to not commit to implementing it.
