Meetup.com confirmation email being filtered as spam?

4 years 6 months ago
#85128
I have been trying to sign up for a Meetup.com account for our Toastmasters club, using our FTH forwarding address of vpm@domain name. Other test mails to any of our FTH addresses, including vpm arrive just fine. email from meetup.com arrives to my personal gmail address just fine. But repeated meetup.com confirmation emails to to our vpm@domainname do not arrive.

Is there a way to identify email from meetup.com as "not spam"?

1) without your club number we can do nothing for you.

2) When asking questions about email you need to tell us from what email address and if you can from what IP the email is coming from.

3) sites like meetup get flagged as spam by many clubs you may have to add the email address to your club email white list.

Thanks for the quick reply.
1> Our club number is 1294652
2> I have previously created a specific filter to whitelist email coming from meetup.com or server@toastmastersclubs.org and have added both to my contacts
3> I have tested email from other addresses coming to vpm@hgpmt.org [our domain name]. All email from other sources is forwarded directly to my personal email per fth configuration.
4> meetup.com email for my personal meetup account comes through without problem
5> this makes me think there is a spam filter built into fth
Is there a way to whitelist meetup.com on our fth server?

You need to add the from email address to you clubs whitelist.
Please read the documentation
