I sat next to him while he opted in.  But when he went to our site and tried to enter his name, email or other his name did not come up for him to enter a password.  I can see him in the member's list with a line through his name.  It makes no sense but he is very frustrated.

As long as that line is through a name the opt-in has not occurred and the site login is not yet enabled.

When the 'Agree' link is clicked in the opt-in email a confirmation screen will appear.

Also; your site is set to automatically send the New Member Welcome email upon opt-in. (Membership Management >  Settings)

These are the two items to check for confirmation of a successful opt-in.

Ok, we have another meeting tonight.  I will try again to send him the opt-in email while we are together and report back sometime tomorrow.

I deleted him from our Ste. Entered him again exactly how he was listed in TI. Resent the opt in letter and it worked!  Thanks for your sleuthing!!
