Member Login and Login as site admin buttons are both grayed out
1 month 3 weeks ago
Using Chrome Version 138.0.7204.158 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I was logged into FTH on 7/13/2025 looking at both the Public Speaking Northwest (9406) and the Frankly Speaking (1909950) pages through Chrome, when we had a power outage. When the power came back, the Members Only buttons on FTH didn't respond on either page. I couldn't login with the "Member Login" and "Login as site admin" buttons, because they were grayed out.
What I have tried:
Oh Mighty Masters of FTH,
I humbly beg your assistance.
May the electrons be with you.
Katie

What I have tried:
- Rebooted the desktop
- Accessed the pages via Edge
- Updated Chrome
- Sent positive thoughts to the SW Masters of FTH
- Waited a couple of days just in case
- Looked at the forum and found #94938, which mentioned inactive login buttons.
- Scoured both club's pages for dialog boxes requesting permission to use cookies, but didn't find any. (You'll find screen shots of the entire front page of Frankly Speaking attached.)

Even though the login buttons are greyed out, they should still be active.
Try clicking one of them - that should open the maroon banner at the top of the page for you to accept the FTH policies (probably the one you saw, hopefully you can re-activate it).
The power outage probably reset your IP address, which makes the system think you're a new user.

I clicked the Member login button and looked to the TOP of the webpage and there was the accept cookies dialog!
