"on behalf of" name incorrectly showing

Good day FTH support,

I'm using a generic VPE gmail address to email members on members-xxx@toastmasters.org.
The emails received by members appear as "Toastmasters Club xxx on behalf of <<old VPE name>> <server@toastmastersclubs.org>".
The generic VPE email doesn't have a name associated with it.

Can I change this on our freetoasthost website?
I checked the FTH Membership page and VPE gmail is still listed as "VPE's Email".
The President and Treasurer generic gmails don't have this issue - they appear exactly like the FTH Membership page name.

My first email from our VPE mailbox was on 10 July. Past VPEs didn't email from this mailbox to the member distribution list.

I have screenshots, but can't find an add file button to add.

This isn't something I've dealt with personally, but I gather that email clients can save the display name associated with the email address and show it even when it's no longer relevant. Gmail is particularly notorious for doing this. In other words, it's likely that the problem is on your own computer and not the FTH server.

Sorry, I don't know specifically how to clear it. You'd need to wait for someone else to chime in.

This can be fixed if you go to "contacts.google.com" > "Other contacts" and delete the old contact there.

Its fixed - it may have been a previously installed app on that generic VPE email account.
