FTH responded to a change in Gmail behavior

Some club's will find some of their member email addresses were replaced by the 'noemail' placeholder. This was caused by a change at Gmail and FTH has made the necessary adjustments to restore function. Affected clubs will need to restore their member's email address. If there is a bounce count error with the address please let us know on the forums.

New member for Club 813062 not getting opt-in email

Hello team,
We have a new member who is not getting his Opt-in email to a hotmail account.   He has been a member of other clubs but we have confirmed he is not getting the email.   The interesting thing is we changed his email to his work email and he DID get the opt-in email.   However, when he clicked the link... it said he had already "opted in".   But still did not show as such on our toastmastersclubs.org member list.

Thoughts or help?

His name is Scott Wicker.   The email he is trying to use is pscott.wicker@hotmail.com

Scott is in 813062's former members list with the strike-through. (not sure how that is possible)

Move him to the Members tab and resend the opt-in email.

I tried to do that but it would not let me move someone who had not accepted the "opt-in" email.    I ended up deleting him and trying again.    It still did not work to his hotmail account but we tried his work email and he is now in.
