The subject line is the first thing people see. It should be obvious and very simple. "The Toastmaster club you visited (joined) is asking permission to include you in their communication feed"
In the body: Keep it simple.
Our club appreciated you (visiting/joining) would you like to be included in future emails from our club?

ksobe: Way too many words.

Steve: I just realized, the opt-in says its for guests if you are putting their info into the guest part of Member Management. Member if into the Member's part. Etc. Sorry for being slow on the uptake.
