Alternative Browsers

Has anyone tried using FTH 3 with any of the alternative browsers that are available?

e.g.: Brave, Vivaldi, Waterfox, Midori, Maxthon, etc.

I am particularly interested if anyone has had experience trying Brave w/ FTH 3. I am thinking it probably does not work as FTH3 needs to use cookies to work, and Brave's selling point is privacy including ditching cookies.

We keep a list of browsers that we believe FTH 3 works with, so it would be good to update the list if anyone has had a good experience using any of the above w/ FTH 3.

I personally have never heard of any of those browsers. Are they new?

Hi,
No luck with Brave because I can't log in. When I click Member Login button, nothing happens (busy spinner image going indefinitely).
Attached is my Browser console output.

I think most of these are new or a new spin on existing browsers (e.g. Waterfox is 64-bit version of Firefox).

Ok, thanks... I suspected that would be the case.

I get the impression that quite a number of the alternative browsers are variants of Chrome, or at least built on it.

I didn't keep any records, but I did try various browsers with FTH at one time, and from what I can recall, the main issue was whether the browser will run javascript. If it won't ... then of course it's useless. Plus of course cookies need to be enabled, but I think even the ancient text-only browsers will allow those.
