upload an excel file and a pdf document

Please advise how to upload an excel file and pdf or word document to the portal so that members can access the information.

this is my first accessing freetoast, and I did peruse the website and posted information and could not find any instructions on how to upload an excel file or document, but let me know if I missed it.
