Role/Agenda Item display width too wide

While learning to create and edit agendas I changed Global Settings to not include Role times on printed agendas (unchecked "Include Role times on printed agendas"). This caused the column width for Role/Agenda Item displayed on our site to become wider - Sign-up tabs (and names for assigned roles) are pushed off page to the right. Switching Global Settings between showing/not showing Role times has no effect. Works fine for printed page, but ruins agenda display on website.

I can see exactly what you are talking about. If I create a new agenda from the template, I see the same. If I create a new template, it works properly.

I think that there is something in the descriptions, probably an HTML code that is causing it, but I would have to look at each description to find it.

I was trying to look at this last evening, but either you and I were working on it at the same time, or another Ambassador was.

Can we set a time for me to test some theories on your agendas, when we both are not working on it? I am Eastern Daylight Time.

Following much angst the problem seems to be resolved.

I can't explain it but it appears that I inadvertently added some control character that I couldn't see in a Role description for General Evaluator. I found what was causing the problem by deleting roles, saving the agenda and checking the display until it was properly displayed on the screen. Then deleted all templates and created new.

I don't know what control character was the culprit or how it was introduced (I do a lot of copy/paste, usually from a purely text editor) but I'm satisfied with the outcome. Lesson learned.... save and verify often.

I am also curious as to what the culprit was. You still seem to have something different though, as your agenda screen is different than mine.

I have attached 2 screen shots with me logged in as admin only.

I found another culprit ; non-visible control character in a subsequent Role description. No idea what the character is (it's not visible) or how it got there but deleting the Role description and retyping seems to have corrected the problem.
