Thanks Steve for clarifying that FTH is not associated with GoDaddy.

The problem is our website is somehow pointing to GoDaddy and we do not have an account with them. Was our site hacked? For a brief time the domain was not renewed with Hostway but when it was renewed our site worked for about a day. Then this happened.

I understand Brian's instruction I just don't know how to get access to GoDaddy. I contacted their customer support and they didn't know why we would need them either and they couldn't verify any account information with just a domain name.

I am at a loss.

I know our domain isn't with GoDaddy. That's why this doesn't make sense.

John Smiley has handed over the account to me. He is still listed as one of the contacts. Hostway is who we have our domain with. Hostway is telling me that I need to contact GoDaddy because, this is directly from Hostway's chat support today:

"These nameservers, NS61.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and NS62.DOMAINCONTROL.COM belong to GoDaddy and you can contact them and make the necessary changes over the DNS records and point the domain."

"We are the Registrar of the domain, but the Registrar can only change the nameservers of the domain. Since the nameservers are pointing to GoDaddy, they are the only guys that can make any changes in these nameservers. We don't have access to their DNS zone and system."

Could hostway be wrong?

Brian: How is "Registry Expiry Date: 2016-11-17T11:35:08Z" expired? :?

LaceyMaloney: My impression is that there are some registrars out there that are actually more like front end internet marketers than real registrars. (Brian correct me if I am off on this.) I have seen cases where the registrar listed in the WHOIS record is different than what a person thought the registrar was. The WHOIS record is authoritative and public record for website domains.
