Welcome Letter Incorrect TM Credential

4 years 9 months ago - 4 years 9 months ago
#82011
Good day,
I sent our new welcome email to our president and noticed that my Toastmaster credential is changed to older credentials. My present credential on our FTH is DTM. I attached a screenshot. I looked at a previous welcome letter sent to a new member Shantae Williams and my credentials are missing in the signature line for that one. Any suggestions on how I can correct this inconsistency especially since I did not update any part of the name or credential when I updated the welcome letter?

All the best.....

Your welcome email template has an issue... I see the following at the end of it:
Code:
----------------------------------- {{adminname}}, {{namesuffix}} {{clubname}}, Website Administrator

However, the problem is that the {{namesuffix}} variable is replaced by the "suffix" (e.g. credentials) for the current member that the welcome is being sent to, *not* the admin. There is no split version of the admin name... it is whatever is stuck in the admin name box in the Website Settings module.

Good day,

Thanks. I went in and changed my credentials in the web admin box and took out the "namesuffix" after my name in the letter. I appreciate your suggestions.

All the best....
