Issues with Club E-Mail Addresses & MX DNS Record "mail.protection.outlook.com"

1 week 3 days ago
#95814
Club No.: 7854653
Club Name: Goodwill Toastmasters

We have the domain goodwilltoastmasters.org through GoDaddy. We also have an email account, info@goodwilltoastmasters.org, that we purchased through GoDaddy, which we forward to our Club Gmail account (goodwilltoastmasters@gmail.com). The Club Gmail account is configured to be able to send and receive email using both info@goodwilltoastmasters.org and goodwilltoastmasters@gmail.com.

Previously, we were able to send email to info@goodwilltoastmasters.org as well as the Club E-Mail Addresses available through FTH (e.g., members@goodwilltoastmasters.org). Recently, though, the latter have not been working.

As of now, I have learned that, if I remove the MX DNS record for goodwilltoastmasters-org.mail.protection.outlook.com (Priority: 0), the FTH emails work fine, but FTH bounces back emails sent to info@goodwilltoastmasters.org. On the other hand, if I leave that record in at all - even if I change the priority - then I cannot sent emails to any of the FTH Club E-Mail Addresses, but emails to info@goodwilltoastmasters.org will go through.

This is a relatively recent problem; I'm not sure what changed or where it changed to create this issue. Screenshots of all of our DNS entries are attached. Let me know if any additional information would be helpful. Thank you in advance for your help!

You have not followed the FTH setup for custom domains, we do not support your configuration.
What you are saying does not show in your domain records.

Your MX record is pointing to outlook which is microsoft

info is not one of the FTH email addresses, you could try and create a "Custom Group" but it may not work because FTH only allows members to email members. Except for the officer titled emails and the contact email.
