Visitors Cannot Find Our Club Website

Our Club #5244 was recently reinstated.  We are not receiving many visitors or inquiries because when we google our club, it goes to the old information.  I have requested that the old information be changed and am still awaiting results.  I just changed our club website address on Find-a-Club and it is finally going to our website, but other than that, I can't figure out how others can find our club website using various search engines.  I've read some of the suggestions and we've tried adding more searchable words with no good results.  Help.  Sherry

Congratulations on your club being reinstated
I'm not sure what you mean by old information.  Your website homepage seems to have a mix of old and new information.  Near the top of the page you mention online and in person meetings, further down it says
For now, we are meeting online in Zoom;  however, we hope to start in person meetings soon
You'll (or the responsible member) will need to edit the page to be correct.  Put the important details about your club at the top.  Potential guests are unlikely to care when you chartered if they don't know what you have to offer.
There are some useful suggestions here:  FreeToastHost 3 Support - Improving Your Google Ranking

You've had 247 hits on your site since July - you need to make it appealing.

In my experience, very few people ever google a club, especially non-members. They google Toastmasters, go to Find a Club, and maybe follow the link to your club. You might also get some traffic from social media. Ask your members how many of them visited your site before visiting your club - probably not many.

A good FTH site can draw the occasional visitor, but club sites will never get high traffic no matter how good they are.

Still, it needs to be attractive, because a poor quality site can have the opposite effect.

Meanwhile, enthusiastic members remain the best source of recruits for your club.
