Google Console Analytics

Hello,

I would like to request assistance in verifying our website for the purpose of accessing the analytics.  I have tried the Google Meta Tag and it doesn't work.  Pls advise.  Thank you.

We need your club number to provide specific help.

Make sure you've correctly set up Google Analytics and applied the tag on the 'Website Statistics' tab in your admin console.

We recommend using an archive email address so the Google Analytics account is tied to the club and not to a member's personal email account.

Also check out the GoAccess tool for your site. It's on the Website Statistics tab just below Google Analytics.

Thank you so much for your quick reply.
Here's our Club ID: #5612080

-I've established a Club archive email address.
-I've inserted the Google meta tag and when I check the page source, it's there.
-I've also inserted the Google analytics tag.

However, it's still not working. The error message is "Ownership verification failed." "The connection to your server timed out."
