How do I disable the "not a member" links with my club website administration

I have found plenty of discussion about the problem with members being moved to the "Former Member Status". We have one member who was experiencing this frequently. Now it is happening to me as well. we are not clicking on the link. We are not using software that scans our emails and autoclicks on links embedded in the emails and not forwarding emails that could trigger this. BTW...lets try to fix this bug please. There are plenty of reasons why someone might forward an email and telling members not to do so is not a long term fix for this issue.

The email states to consider disabling the "not a member" links. I cannot find any information on how to do this. Can someone please direct me to the instructions for this.

Hello. This same problem has happened within our club. I cannot figure out how to get him removed from the Former Members list so that I can add him back into there active members list where he belongs. This has caused considerable time to try and figure this out and I finally ended up here in the forum. Can someone please provide really easy-to-follow directions on how to fix this as we are very frustrated. Thank you.

Click on the box next to the names(s) to move.
Drop-down the Membership Tools list.
Select Move to Members List.
Answer 'Yes' to the question that pops up in a dialog box.
