Changing the name of the club
1 day 17 hours ago
Our club, number 3785939 just voted to change its name from "Advanced Articulators of Andover" to "Advanced Articulators Online" , which we believe is not currently used by any other club. It does not show up in the dashboard. How do I make the change for our FTH website? Can it be done while keeping all the current content? Is this something that I can do as an admin or does it have to be done by one of the FTH maintainers?
Thanks for your help.

*Sec doesn't have access to the necessary modules. Your club's current access settings allow Pres, VPE, VPPR access to Website settings which is needed for the items below. VPE, VPM, VPPR can access custom web pages if the club name appears on any of those. If you have the site main admin login info then you can make these changes.
They are both in the admin module;
Basic Settings > Club Name
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/basic-settings
Home page tab > Main Heading
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/home-page
You'll need to edit the home page itself for that one, as well as any custom pages on which the club name might appear.

Obviously you also need to make that change on Toastmasters.org. Allow 2-3 days for the system to update.
Any registered club officer can log in to Club Central and change the club’s name in the “Addendum of Standard Club Options” section.

You'll also want to change your website alias (
FreeToastHost 3 Support - Website alias
)
When that changes, access to the website via the original alias will be lost.
